Great app but small issue

I moved into this app from StrongLifts after I started plateauing, and I’ve been using it for 5 cycles now. It’s been great except that I cannot find a way to restart a cycle or lower the weights after going on holiday for 2 weeks. I tried manually changing the 1RM in the Basic Settings but it didn’t make a difference. I then tried “deleting all data and starting over” but it wouldn’t restore my purchases.

Few bugs

So - first major bug is that it increases your 1RM each cycle and not your training max - which is completely wrong.

Other slight annoyance is that it will show you your goals i.e. “lift 5 on last set to beat 1rm” but it doesn’t dynamically update dependant on the weight you set there- sometimes you need to adjust the weight - but the goal remains unchanged.

Also the app doesn’t take into consideration any joker sets or additional sets performed when calculating your latest 1RM PR - even though it tells you how many reps required to hit a PR in the joker area - performing the PR doesn’t get logged in your graph.

It would be nice to easily be able to see previous cycle results somehow without the convoluted process of using the calendar and the going in through there. You can leave notes etc . But again they aren’t accessible without going in through the calendar. Needs looked at.

It’s close to being 5 star, but user experience is lacking a little overall

Edit: I removed an error in my review - also dev seems to taking the feedback on board which is nice - hopefully see the fixes implemented. Especially to the TM increase bug

Developer Response ,

Hi, Thanks for the feedback. Could you please send me an email? I would like to discuss some issues.

Nice and lightweight, though improvements would be appreciated

The app is quick and minimalistic which I like. I think the chart could be better though.

I think the x axis should represent date rather than workout number. When I log my weight it doesn’t match up on the graph with my lifts because I don’t weight myself every session. It also makes the graph pointless since you can’t judge your improvement over time.

It’s also weird that reload sessions should be plotted on the graph - why?
