I downloaded 888 casino, as a new customer you would get 88 free spins, when downloading they send me a text with the link to collect my 88 free spins, however when I clicked on the link it said ‘request blocked’ I then see a bonus game ‘wheel spin’ where you can win up to 200% bonus but you had to deposit £20. So I deposited £20 and when I also went to click on the link to claim my conus the link said ‘request blocked’ . I end up gambling and losing the whole £20 on the slots. But still thought I had my bonus games as I still had the notifications there. I then deposited a further £30 I then looked up the reviews see that there was LOADS of people with bad experiences and decided to contact a terrible customer services which includes a robot taking you round and round in circles. I decided to withdraw the £30 I deposited because I didn’t trust them. But thought ‘oh well I’ve still got my 88 free spins and wheel spin from signing up as a new customer and depositing the minimum £20 for the spin the wheel’ but when I FINALLY got through to a customer service they told me because I withdraw the £30 I’ve deposited I’ve now lost all my bonuses. Which is ridiculous. It was a NO DEPOSIT FREE 88 spins. Plus I deposited £20 for the wheel spin bonus game but have now been told they took the bonuses away from me. Honestly never had a gambling site like this. Do not waste your time. Download a different gambling app.

SCAM AND A CON

I had an account with this site I deposited and spent that and didn’t win anything only a pound here and there then I got a promotion and win 65 spins and I won £12 on that which went into my bonus funds so anyway I played with that to see what would happen well obviously as it’s bonus fund you win and can’t withdraw it as it said I have to play with real money to withdraw well anyway I thought if uo the stake and just rinse the money anyway so I did and ended up winning £100 so I couldn’t withdraw that then I ended up getting my balance to nearly £200 and then it came up saying it gone into my real money funds so I could withdraw so I withdrew £150 that was at 2:30am and it’s now 1:43pm and money still hasn’t gone into my account even tho it said it can take 1-3 days to receive it but then by the morning my account got blocked all of a sudden so not sure whether I’ll get the winnings so yeah if I was you I wouldn't trust this casino site it’s a SCAM and takes money and don’t pay anything and when it does pay out it blocks your account and stops you getting your money I’m gonna take this further as this site isn’t legit and needs shutting down 😡😡😡😡 I’ll stick to gala and Mecca at least you can with draw from bonus and promotions unlike this one as what’s the point in playing bonuses or promotions if you can’t withdraw it and you win big it’s stupid who ever made that up

If you’re installing for the £88, don’t

You install the game, you sign up for the £88 pre-deposit bonus which is a long winded process that involves giving your name, age, address, and photos of your ID etc. Once you’re verified, 48hr later you essentially get given £88 worth of ‘tokens’ to spend on a select number of games. I read briefly through the t+c’s but found nowhere that once you reach £10 winnings with the £88 freeplay, the remaining ‘tokens’ just disappear. The £10 you win goes to the bonus balance, which can only be redeemed if you spend money of your own and earn a certain number of points through the app, basically meaning you can’t get the £10 for free. I thought okay, maybe if i use the £10 bonus to gamble more it will add the winnings to the normal balance but low and behold, it just reinvests it back into the bonus. Long story short, you will not make any money off the ‘free £88’ that they supposedly offer. If you were looking to do this then do not waste your time.

A con?

I joined today after reading the previous review which seemed to indicate a favourable resolution to the customers original complaint. I was surprised to note that I was not given the promised and advertised £88 but was instead asked to make a deposit. I did so and the minimum I was able to deposit was £20. I then won around £500 and played on until my total winnings were just below £400 and decided to withdraw my winnings. I was not able to do so as it just kept taking me to a page that stated there were technical issues with the website. I wasn’t even able to continue playing any of the games as again, it kept telling me there were problems and I should go to the support page. I have also submitted a request via the app for my winnings to be paid out. At this point I am wondering if this is all a scam and if so, I will be reporting via a number of social media platforms and indeed with Apple. However, I will give them the chance to respond before I do. If I get a favourable response, I will update my review.

Warning - unable to withdraw winnings

I’m entitled to my winnings and I’m not talking about a caveat about bonuses. It says I can withdraw the £100 won and asks for my bank details. It requests the IBAN and SWIFT codes but then immediately says your IBAN number should be 8 digits - so they want your bank account number - but even then this doesn’t work. So I phoned them and they want proof of bank statement so I emailed it to them. Then they email to say they want photo ID but they email you on a ‘do not reply’ email address and don’t tell you where they want the photo ID emailed. So when I realised a week later they hadn’t replied I resent it to the first email they gave me and chased. I received another email requesting the proof of ID again, also from a do not reply email address. I really want to be paid out but it taking weeks so far and no nearer being resolved. I genuinely feel this is unacceptable behaviour and would give them no stars if I could 😡

Beware! LOCKDOWN SCAM

I’ve been using this site on and off for 3-4 years. Throughout them years I wouldn’t suspect a think wrong it seems fair and quiet consistent. I’ve had many wins and many losses. Usually put around £100 a month in and more depending on wins. Since lockdown has been assigned to the country I’ve played a lot more. I put £100 in and didn’t win on a single spin for £74 doing £1 spins. Then 32 spins later I lost it all. Put another £100 in and again 37 spins doing £2 spins and not a single win. I’ve never had this before. Put £200 in and 22 spins with 0 wins. Then finally won £117 in a spin which was short lived because I did £3 spins and 32 spins with nothing. Soon after all my money gone. I’m disappointed and clearly they have changed the payout system during this difficult time. This is what is wrong with gambeling your odds are even more so stacked against you. What a joke. Barred myself from this one as it’s no good for you.

I downloaded the app because of the £88 freeplay offer. I received this no problem and quickly won the £15 max (I hadn’t read the Ts & Cs at this point so was surprised to lose the rest of the bonus.
Realising that I ‘wasn’t’ going to win anything I decided to just play the £15 and remove the app.
To my shock, I somehow managed to surpass the 15x wagering rules and end up winning £680 in “real money” on top!
I played with and lost £180 of that and decided to withdraw the remaining £500. Then I discovered all the horror stories regarding this company paying out so I’m now anxiously waiting and hoping that they are not true.
I’ve seen a review that was edited upon receiving their money so I will do the same... 🤞🏾

I emailed 888 after writing the above part of the review and then this afternoon got a confirmation of process email. I’ve just checked my bank and the £500 is there!
So ignore all the scam reviews (I’ve read through a few and the majority seem to be people not understanding the wagering requirements) 9 days later I have my £500 winnings and didn’t have to spend a penny. Cheers 888 😁😁

Very hard to withdraw did not expect this

Had my account a couple years and only used it 2 maybe 3 times before. Anyway I just decided I fancy a go on the roulette and went on 888 deposited some money lost a bit and decided to quit. But when I came to withdraw my money it’s very difficult to do so, I have looked how to do it on the website but completely different when actually doing it. Even ended up depositing more thinking I was withdrawing it. Had to contact them but normally companies like this don’t respond to in app/website contact it’s just an automated reply, have to see.

I don’t remember doing any KYC (know your customer) so that’ll probably come into play and drag the process out.

Not good overall anyway a business of this nature (gambling) should make it just as easy to withdraw as it is to deposit for customer safety. As the longer it’s stuck in your account the more likely it is to be spent, very shady practice.👎
