Game changing app!
Finding the printed edition of the CE changed everything - the cameo essays in particular (which are based around the ‘special messages’ to the scribes) are so practical and helpful in applying the teaching. The footnotes explain so much and give context and fill in the ‘gaps’ - the things that made little sense to me from previous editions. I also appreciate all the restored wording in the early chapters. With all this, the Course became a contextualised living teaching that I started practicing every day. But the book is 1,000 pages long and very inconvenient to carry. (Navigating the Kindle edition of such a large book is a chore too.)
So this app has been a complete game changer. I have it on my phone, iPad, and on my desktop devices via the web version (at acimce.app) and it can do SO much more than the book. The ability to listen to each page, and to read on the go is wonderful. But the incredible search options, and the ability to have multiple “tabs” open at any time make this app really stand out as a study tool.
I love that I can use multiple highlighters (and label them) so I can mark key themes, and because my app syncs across all devices I can share the highlights and notes with my study group via Zoom. It’s incredibly convenient and truly helpful! (We all enjoy sharing quotes and images directly from the app on our What’s App group too.)
I’m very grateful for everyone who has contributed to this app so it could be available for free to use.
