Description

To EU users,

According to EU DSA,, EU App Store displays traders' address and etc.
Since I am an individual developer, it is impossible and I will stop release the app.

It is a Go AI featuring a neural network of that strong, open source AI. Leela Zero, ELF OpenGo, PhoenixGo, Minigo, SAI, and optionally KataGo!

You can use it as a strong opponent, and as a good teacher at the time of study.

With M2 processor of iPad Pro, the playouts are performed over 650 times per second with ELF OpenGo weight v1, and with A15 Bionic processor of iPad mini, over 200 times per second! Both exceed notebook computers and is comparable to desktop computers. With M2 processor of iPad Pro, the playouts are performed over 250 times per second with KataGo b18c384nbt!
Other famous weights are also included.

For your information, the playout speed on the iPad Pro 9.7 inch model(A9X processor) will be about 10 times per second, and the one on the iPhone 6(A8 processor) will be about 1 time per second. I think that even so it is stronger than most amateurs, but I am sorry that patterns of misreading ladders will increase.
Please be careful when considering purchasing.

Enjoy it!

Nice app for iOS

Runs well on iPad. Might exhaust iPhone battery a bit but depends on what version of iPhone and AI

Could be good in the future

This is still a bit lacking in features, though excellent otherwise. It needs a tree viewer and the ability to pause analysis (like the space bar in Lizzie). Those are most pressing since it isn’t possible to do serious analysis without them. I paid for it and am not asking for my money back but I am hoping that the developer will speedily add these key functions and make this the best go analysis app available. Oh, and I also meant to add that it would benefit from some instructions someplace. Note added: I took a look at the website and it speaks of the 1-2-3-4 modes to toggle views. I can only see 1-2 (two modes) and toggling they don’t make any visible changes. Am I missing something? Also there is a small pair of scales (it refers to how many coins I have left) - I have no idea what that is. HELP PLEASE!

Note added after developer response: pausing the analysis is not for battery life, it is more to have an uncluttered display. Is there a way to switch on/off the candidate moves in analysis. I like to work out the move and then see how good my choice was.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for purchasing the app!

I am sorry that the app is lack of a tree viewer and pause functionality.
I am not quite sure what you really want by pausing.
If it is battery saving, you will have two options in version 3.1.0 as well as a timer for study mode.
Please see the settings modal by touching ☯️ icon in opening menu.
The less threads, the less power.
If Low Thread Priority is on, you may get less power consumption.

❶②❸④ button meant a mode to display variations in the old version, did not mean for the number of modes.
Now the button was changed to ❶② to reduce the width.

Please touch ❶② button, then touch a candidate move, which is displayed as winrate number with some color. You will see primary variation for the move which AI thinks.

⚖ icon is to score current position. Please long-press to get the result.

You almost understand the functionalities of the app. Cheers.

Thank you!
