Description
Displays officially licenced UKHO tidal data on an annual basis without ever needing to go online.
The tidal data is contained in our annual data plugins and must be purchased using in-app purchases.
Once you have purchased the data, this app will allow you to view UKHO standard port tides up to a year in advance.
The app will also calculate secondary port tides using its own built in offsets. (The 'UK data 2016' IAP contains data for 38 primary ports and over 500 secondary ports, see our website for more details on coverage)
The main view is an 'At a glance' table view of each month's tides and tidal ranges.
Selecting an entry will display an easy to use daily chart view showing the tide height for any time of day and a tidal stream view showing tidal direction and speed at hourly intervals.
The Weather section downloads and displays the current Met Office Inshore Forecast.
Absolute Tides also makes anchoring easy by calculating the maximum and minimum tides beween the current time and any selected future date/time.
Note: This application will NOT work without at least one of our tidal data in-app purchases being installed. Please check that the tide data you want is available before downloading this app.

All data is given in good faith and is believed to be correct but we accept no responsibility for any consequential loss or damage arising from use of this application.
Secondary port data calculated using offsets will be less accurate than the UKHO standard port data.

Great App - but if only…
… the subscription bought a full 12 months of data instead of the remainder of the calendar year. For the cost this is a minor consideration but for planning ahead it has a significant impact. Otherwise this is a superb tidal planning tool and access to the latest inshore forecast is a bonus!
Best tide app I’ve found
After my old app being visually simple but repeatedly not functioning. I searched a lot, downloaded ,and tried out a few new ones. The others were too difficult to read / messy ,or had visual moving adverts etc. All quite difficult for a mildly dyslexic person. Trying to read one set of numbers against another.
This one is all there and easy enough. ( not as easy as it could be / larger print // double sized for the day you are on - or choose would be great on a phone screen )
It has in-depth information for those that want it . I deleted all the others ,and happily use this one . Chosen over all the rest after testing.
Thank you for a great app I have used it for sever years
I have used this app and enjoyed using it all around the Uk and love it, however it would be very handy if Fleetwood was included or if it is I can’t find it I guess Morecambe bay is considered to be near enough but they are about 10 to 15 minutes different this is not a complaint just a suggestion for another year. I am amazed to see a review from a dissatisfied sailor not expecting to pay £2.99 for the whole of the uk when anything else connected to sailing is very overpriced, for under £3 it’s great value.
