A complex reality demands a complex set of symbols. The Abused Emojis makes it possible for kids and young people to talk about situations where they felt bad or wrongly treated without having to put words on the situation. If you or somebody you know have been hurt, mistreated or feel sad, Abused Emojis makes it easier to talk about.
Bris is a Swedish non-profit organisation that runs a national helpline for children and teenagers. Every day we have contact with a great number of kids through phone, chat and mail conversation. Many of the problems that children face today are stigmatised and often they have no-one to talk to but us. The Abused Emojis app is part of our work to let children talk more freely about their situation.

I really like the concept behind this app. However I only gave it 4 stars because I think the way it works could be improved. Currently it sends the abused emojis as a copy and pasted picture, some people have to pay extra to send a picture message though. I think if it sent the emojis as text, like the regular emojis, it would be better and more effective. This app is useful for children suffered abuse and hard times as well as people in abusive relationships and with a bit of tweaking it will fulfil its purpose completely 🌞
Copy & Paste 👎🏼
Agree with other review, great idea but not so great that they are actually copied and pasted pictures rather than working how the current emojis work! Please change and you will have 5 stars!! 💥🎉
