iPad Screenshots

Description

*** This is the AC-7 Core version suitable for first generation iPads.
If you have an iPad 2 or newer, our newer iOS6-only app "AC-7 Core HD" would be a better choice.

*** IOS 5 and 6 tested and working. Make sure your network MIDI settings are correct like the screenshot below.

The AC7-Core is a wireless/wired control surface utilizing CoreMIDI for simple setup and reliable operation. There are dedicated modes for controlling:
Apple's Logic
Pro Tools
MOTU's Digital Performer (v6.02 upwards)
Cubase/Nuendo
Cakewalk Sonar
Reaper
Ableton Live
Propellerhead Reason/Record
Sony Vegas/Acid Pro
FruityLoops Studio
Presonus Studio One
Adobe Audition
Mackie Tracktion
Final Cut Pro

Other software which supports the Mackie Control protocol will work with the "Generic Mode"

Works without additional server software on OS X "Tiger" and above.
Also works on Windows XP, Vista, And 7 with solutions such as Tobias Erichsen's "rtpMIDI" driver.

What’s New

Version 2.1

Just a few tweaks requested by users:
* Cubase Mode - Shift button moved to a better location
* Pro Tools Mode - Time Display is now laid out more logically for Bars/Beats and Hrs/Min/Sec modes
* Pro Tools Mode - Shuttle and Scrub buttons reversed

SHAME THERE IS NO UPDATE AND OTHERS HAVE PASSED YOU AND ARE NOW BETTER THAN YOU

This was the first app I ever bought for my first Ipad, and used it for a while, then the developers got a bit too big for their bloody boots, and they have not done a dam thing to the app for nearly three years, and that tells me they are no longer interested, so I have put it up to the cloud. I will be buying another Ipad maybe Mini and a V Processor which looks and seems more professional.

Great

Great app running on my iPad 2 no problems. It was a little difficult to set up would suggest restarting both iPad and computer if experiencing any problems. Now it's running it's great. After visiting the developer site, I noticed one complaint was lack of support material, but the Mackie control section of my logic pro 9 manual, and having the control assignments window open is enough to find my way around. Sure there's a little trial and error but only the same as any other studio gear I've ever had. It gets 5 stars from me it's making my workflow much easier.

Simply the best!

Had this app for a while but only got around to using it in a big session last night. What can I say but Awesome, easy to setup, and you know what it just worked! Made tracking new tracks and dropping in very easy. The rest of the band were in awe and when it came to doing my vocals I could take the iPad and app to the vocal booth to do all my control too. Very good guys best money I've ever spent. Would be nice to see more updates, but to be honest I don't know what you could add to make it better :-)
