Description
ACC Mobile 3 extends the power of Avigilon Control Center™ video management software to mobile devices, enabling security professionals to efficiently monitor ACCTM systems and to quickly respond to incidents anytime and from any location that has network connectivity. The ACC Mobile 3 app works together with Avigilon Cloud Services to provide secure remote access to your cloud-connected ACC 7 sites, alleviating the need for any complicated firewall configuration.
With the ACC Mobile 3 app, users can:
• Sign in using Avigilon Cloud Services credentials for seamless access to an organization’s cloud-connected ACC 7 sites using firewall traversal
• Directly connect to ACC 6 sites or ACC 7 sites not connected to Avigilon Cloud Services by specifying a IP address or hostname, port, and ACC credentials for each one
• View live or recorded video from any H.264 or H.265 cameras connected to ACC sites
• Efficiently stream live or recorded HD video from Avigilon cameras using High Definition Stream Management (HDSM)™ technology to optimize the use of network bandwidth
• Receive push alarm notifications to quickly detect, verify, and act on events such as motion or video analytic rule triggers
• View analytic bounding boxes for detected people and vehicles in video from Avigilon cameras with self-learning analytics
• Use audio talk down to deter an intruder by broadcasting voice audio to cameras with connected speakers (not available for ACC Core edition)
• Listen to live or recorded audio from cameras with a connected microphone (not available for ACC Core edition)
• Easily review recorded video using the recorded video timeline
• Control PTZ cameras including running tours and moving to defined presets
• View live video from multiple cameras at a time using selectable view layouts
ACC Mobile 3 is available for use with ACC Core, Standard, and Enterprise edition sites. Whether connecting through Avigilon Cloud Services (ACC 7.4.4.14 or a more recent version) or directly (ACC 6.2.0 or a more recent version), ACC Mobile 3 requires ACC sites to be running the ACC Web Endpoint component. The ACC Web Endpoint is pre-installed on Avigilon Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and High Definition Video Appliances (HDVAs), is part of the firmware for ACC ES Recorders and ACC ES Appliances, and is available as a separate download for any server running on Windows.

Very buggy
Having to delete the app and re install it at least twice a week. I have to do this because it logs me logs sporadicly and then sometimes doesn’t accept my email address/username when I try to log back in. I then delete the app, reinstall it and put the exact same email address in and it works again. So annoying. Also sometimes when selecting a camera I don’t get the play back icon in the top right corner. I go back to the camera list and select the same camera again, and then it appears. Another issue is that the sometimes the thumbnail images of the cameras in the list are jumbled up. For example the image of camera 2 will be shown against camera one etc. Seems that since Avigilon got taken over by Motorola they have let the software side of things slide. I’ve used Avigilon for over ten years and I’ve always been a big supporter, but due to silly things like this I’m thinking of switching over to another brand. Please sort it out.
Functional but needs work
Often I cannot connect to the EMEA server, requiring several app restarts (v 3.26.4) in order to initiate connection. iOS App is always shut down and not running in the background. When opening an active alarm message you get an alert not found or similar message. If the video needs time to buffer a “please wait” message or similar would be better. Once connected to site it sometimes takes approx 20 seconds for cameras and alerts to load, usually when you really don’t want to wait… My experience is limited to a small, 6 camera site utilising a HDVA 1. Results may vary for large sites with Dell machines perhaps. This is the only time I’d put Hikvision and Avigilon in the same sentence but the Hik-Connect is leaps in front and extremely quick to load.
Update: Since upgrading to 3.26.6 the server connectivity issue seems to have been fixed. Nice work Avigilon!

We released on May 31st a new version of ACC Mobile 3.26.6, which fixed an issue where it lost connection after terminating the app, requiring the user to reconnect to the sites upon each launch

Account login out and images not refreshing
The app Will randomly log you out and you have to sign back in. The images and names of the cameras are not correctly shown in the list. When you refresh they are still incorrect
