Accounts 2
A brilliant App. I had the original Accounts app and happily paid for the upgrade. I used to use Quicken until Microsoft bought it and killed it. Accounts2 is the same as havingQuicken/Money on your phone, Now I use only Accounts2 and don't need any other accounting software on any other device. That said I wish SVT would write a version for the Mac for back up purposes.
Have downgraded this to 4* because having bought the same app for my iPad I've found that iCloud synch between my phone and iPad is really quite poor. Some transactions synch, some don't. I find I can't trust the synch process so continue to use Accounts on my phone and have stopped trying to use it on the iPad as well. You can use it very successfully on one or the other but not both.
Also please please please provide support for other currencies
Why can I not set up an account in Euro’s as well as my £ account(s). They are all base 10 accounts so the only thing that changes is the denomination - I just want to be able to create a $ and € account so that I can track holiday spend.
Still a ‘must have’ app though.
Recent Update
The recent update (5th Jan. 2022) has a bug. When you click to update an entry the top part (Cancel. Update Entry. Save) becomes transparent if you update more than 1 entry, it becomes difficult to see where to click to either Cancel or Save as they blend into whatever is behind it. Otherwise the app looks OK. UPDATE 30th June 2022. I have found further bugs in this App. namely headings on reports. When you first open the app. to view a report the heading for that report seems to stick so that when you view the next report the heading doesn’t change. Also I think the name change from Accounts 2 to Accounts 2 Checkbook, hinders reporting of issues. I have tried to report these problems via the Apple website, it tells me that I don’t have the title in my purchase history, I clearly have as I use the App. Every day. I wonder if anyone reads these reviews? Thanks for the fix.👍👍👍

This is the best
I used to use MS Money for year's but found it doesn't work with Apple devices. I then tried Pocket Money which was good until the developers decided to update and absolutely ruined the App. Now I found Accounts2 which is a Godsend. I have the paid version with no ads. It is absolutely brilliant for what I want. I love it, it syncs automatically with all my Apple devices. It has a reoccuring feature for my regular payments and it memorises previous payees and has a autfil function. So, it's really simple to use and record purchases and payments. I can unhesitatingly recommend this App.
