Best addon maker but…
Best addon maker by far but I have a few gripes. From what I can see there isn’t any “colourise” feature in the texture editor. You can find this in a different addon maker called “CraftyCraft” which makes it really easy to just give default minecraft textures a different colour. I don’t know if I just don’t know the full extent of the addon maker but it seems I can’t make bows with ammo, same with guns(which I really love) you can technically make one with infinite ammo but it’s not the same. Also seems that you can’t make Tridentes, I don’t know if I’m missing something but these seem like features that should be in over things like furniture and guns. I do feel like this stuff is a common trend amongst addon makers.
There are some positives though like being able to make furniture and all the textured they give you. It’s easy to use. Quick to learn. And they give a bunch of mob templates.
Very good app
The app is brilliant! It works well however I’m having a few minor issues (if they can’t be fixed or I just don’t understand the app yet then I completely understand) 1. I am unable to create 3D models for items, which I find a little annoying (not a major problem)
2. I will make an Addon, realise I want to edit it, apply the changes and save, but nothing is changed and I have to start again.
3. Finally, I wish you could create your own textures (not just choose one, erase it and create your own) edit: if I take too long to create the addon it does not let me save it
Not worth £2.99
I have been searching for an easy to use addon creator for a while and after reading some reviews I had high hopes for this app and for the price of £2.99 I expected that it would be much better than the free apps that are available. However when I opened this app I was extremely dissatisfied with it. It is practically the exact same as one of the free ones that I had downloaded a few days before. I will say that exporting it onto Minecraft has been easier though.
I mainly downloaded this to design my own mobs however I found that this was the weakest point in the whole app. The templates for animals that we are given are good however I wish that there was an option to create a new animal using the horse and Ender dragon as it currently doesn’t have the option to.
I would love to be able to customise the mobs a little bit more such as adding custom 3D parts such as trunks on an elephant and things like that as this would give creators more freedom to create anything they could imagine (This would be great for blocks as well)
I also feel as if you should be able to see a full view of your creations and not just the spread.
I hope you take my suggestions into consideration because I believe that with these changes this app could become worth £2.99
