The account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in the iTunes Account Settings.

Perfect Companion
Similar situation to Steve@Aberdeen, I’ve been using AdGuard Pro on all my devices for many years so I was very interested in a VPN service from the same company.
I had been using another VPN service on all my devices but it was a trade off between a VPN or complete system wide adblocking. Adblocking wins every time so I wasn’t getting my money’s worth with a VPN subscription.
Introduce AdGuard VPN and now I can continue to benefit from system level adblocking and have an encrypted internet connection... heaven!
The most recent update has solved a peculiar issue I had where if I was connected to the U.K. server it would block internet access. Any other country would work, weird.
Since the update I’ve had both my iPhone and iPad connected to the U.K. server without any connection issues.
Bring on the MacOS app!

Unreliable and overpromising
Quality of the connection is REALLY patchy. It can be 200mb and 3mb with very similar latency and signal. I switch off their vpn and my internet speed is back to where it is supposed to be. This vpn cuts it by an unpredictable ratio.. it could be 2x it can be 5-7-20x. This is VERY disturbing for connectivity critical applications. This is my second time I am buying subscription after a reasonable break (I gave them some time). It has become better (it was aaaalot worse), but still I cannot rely on their stable and good bandwidth connection. The only reason I keep coming back to try this out is adblocker/tracker and vpn bundle. It is still faaar from smooth. I remain very disappointed..

Switched from ExpressVPN
I've been using ExpressVPN for two years. Their support has always been so-so, but more frustrating was the fact that they took nearly a year to ship a stable M1-compatible build of the app.
I've been a very satisfied AdGuard customer since 2018 when I bought a lifetime licence. I've barely seen an advert since then – I just keep AdGuard running in the background and forget about it.
That's how a VPN should be, too. I'm really excited that AdGuard are entering this market. If their ad blocking software is anything to go by, they really get it.
(And three bucks a month is a ridiculously great deal.)
