The 1TB of cloud storage included with Photoshop Lightroom ensures that you can access your entire library of full-resolution photos anytime you want, anywhere you are, from any device.
Share your photographs with loved ones, clients, or an even bigger audience. Post photos directly to social sites, showcase them on your website by sending them directly to Adobe Portfolio, and create stunning graphics, web pages, and video stories in minutes with Adobe Spark. It's all included in your membership.
Your first week is free. Once your free trial ends, the recurring monthly payment is automatically charged to your iTunes account. To stop service, go to Account Settings and turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of your billing period. Prorating is unavailable -- when you turn off auto-renew, service will continue until the end of that month’s billing period.
Use of Adobe mobile apps and online services requires registration for a free Adobe ID as part of a free Creative Cloud membership. Adobe online services require an Internet connection, are not available in all countries or languages, and maybe subject to change or discontinuation without notice.
September 2019 (version 2.4.1): Additional camera support and bug fixes
Ratings and Reviews
I don't understand why Adobe are keeping all the features of Lightroom Classic out of Lightroom CC (this version) and/or the modern spit and polish of Lightroom CC out of Lightroom Classic. This version isn't so much of a step-up from Apple's own Photos app but with 1TB of cloud storage for £9.99 a month (Apple will give you 2TB of iCloud storage for £6.99 that you can share with your family too). A recent bugbear: want to export a photo? Options are full size, "small", or set the maximum dimension (in pixels). None of the rich flexibility and customisation available in Lightroom Classic. So use Lightroom Classic instead? Looks like it was last updated 5 years ago. Make your mind up Adobe please, and give your customers the fully featured modern, 'born in the cloud' product they deserve. It's 2019, you're supposed to be the leader in this field, so why not lead? Feels like you're trying to please everyone, but missing a real opportunity to drive your products forward. Hoping that future updates/releases deliver on the promise.
Sometimes the upload of photos stalls. You can't see which photo is currently being uploaded and which one is next and how many percent are completed for each photo. You can only see how many photos to remain to be uploaded.
The program doesn't automatically recognise photos that are part of a panorama. You have to identify them yourself. The panorama creation however is fast, good and doesn't use a lot of memory. Lightroom in general however uses a lot of memory. It's an OK application made by amateurs for amateurs. I would recommend digikam for professional photographers.
Adobe CC Subscription needed...
As others have pointed out, the app is not free. Then again it never has been, and it clearly states "in-app purchases" - so not sure why it gets 1 star for being "not free" Lightroom never has been.
Anyway, rant over. Lightroom is an amazingly powerful tool for photogrpahers. This is a more convienct want to get it installed without the need to use the Adobe CC app. Plus you can charge your Apple account which is even handier.
If youre looking at this, you already know what it does, so theres no need for a full review.
