“I'm so high on this because it's the best of every world. I'm not spending hours and hours senselessly grinding, and I'm not cooking fake food until my eyes bleed. The mix of action and simulation feels right. The pacing is good.” -toucharcade.com
“It's a massive game, with a seriously smart idea that has been executed well. If you're hooked by RPGs and find simulations addictive, this game might just eliminate your free time altogether.” -Pocket Gamer
“We spent way more time than we bargained for with a near-final build as we got sucked into its intricacies, but we’ve managed to tear our thumbs away from the touchscreen long enough to write up some impressions.” -iFanzine.com

One of my favourite mobile games! It has interesting characters, a different story, and new game mechanics that I've personally never seen before. The story stays interesting throughout and is different from most RPGs in the way that Siela isn't a great hero from prophecies or something cliché like that. She's just a normal girl, not the stereotypical hero placed on a pedestal. The story stays interesting throughout, and picks up later on. The characters didn't get much development but it suits the story - as I said, there's no prophecy to be fulfilled or anything like that, and so there's no need for long and complex stories. The fighting does something I feel a lot of games forget - it stays challenging! There's never been a battle where I haven't considered my every action carefully. You don't just become unbeatable with good armour and good weapons. All in all, it's a fun game with a lot of charm. My only problem with it is the messy translation, but really, TRANSLATION IS HARD! I can't judge them too harshly for that, especially when it's Japanese to English (or so I assume). It's worth the money, and doesn't become impossible if you don't dish out some extra cash for powerful equipment (VERY IMPORTANT IN GAMES WHERE YOU HAVE TO PAY BEFOREHAND TO PLAY!). It's been great fun for me!

I had been following this game for a while, and am happy that it has not disappointed me. The game reminds me of the SNES era, and is a classic dungeon crawler with a neat twist on the looting premise many RPGs follow.Killing monsters nets you ingredients and new skills to use in combat. After returning back to the bar, you can cook meals using the ingredients to level up, as well as gain money by selling dishes to customers. The graphics are simple, but charming. I would recommend this to anyone who likes classic turn-based RPGs. Those looking for a modern experience should maybe pass this one by.
Basic RPG but enjoyable

Don’t expect an RPG of epic proportions with this. It’s no Halo or Dragon Age, but it is still good fun. This games goes back to basics, more akin to the old school, early Final Fantasy games. The graphics aren’t stellar but they are fit for purpose. The NPCs are varied, animated and interesting. The story line doesn’t send you out to end the apocalypse, but it’s still for a pretty good causeThe most intriguing feature about this game is that you cook and eat to level up! This unusual gameplay makes it a tad more interesting than the monotony of grinding mobs to level up. You collect ingredients, you find recipes, then you cook up a banquet and binge until you can’t eat anymore. It would probably appeal to the inner gourmand in some of us.
