Robot vac isn’t cleaning where it’s meant to be

In the last week we have noticed the robot isn’t cleaning the areas it’s meant to be on designated days. So I wiped all the tasks and reinstalled them for the week.

Today for instance, I have the robot setup to clean just two rooms, instead it is different from what has been programmed/set on the app.

The tasks say ‘zones’ thing but the robots cleaning process say ‘everywhere’.

Portrait mode for ipad

Couldn’t the app developers have developed an ipad version in landscape rather than portrait (phone) aspect ?
Just ordered so awaiting delivery - more later.

Not So Smart

The AEG air purifiers are good innovative products ruined by poor design and implementation of their so-called ‘smart’ features. Part of the problem is firmware which doesn’t update automatically. Any app would struggle to control bad firmware, but the AEG Well Being app contributes its own problems. For example, in order to change basic settings such as WiFi name you have to delete all settings and start over.

Developer Response ,

We have made some choices in regards to network security and privacy of our users that lead to a bit more cumbersome interaction especially when changing connection points.
We will evolve and improve this but never compromise on IT security and the privacy of our users
