AigoSmart 4+

I downloaded this app with my air-conditioner and it worked really well for the one day I used it before the update.

On setting up the app, I changed the default temperature from fahrenheit to centigrade. It also really helpfully displayed the current room temperature inside the inner dial.

Since the 8 August update, my centigrade setting changed to fahrenheit and I cannot change it back because there is no save button on the settings page. This is probably because there is only one thing that is actually changeable on that page, so each time I choose centigrade and go back, my change is lost.

On the main temperature dial there is a line which used to show the current room temperature. Again, since the update, that section is now always blank. I assume the air-conditioner knows what the temperature is because it switches itself on and off during the night, but I don’t and I would like to.

One issue that seems to have been fixed in yesterday‘s (30/8) update is the remote control that came with the air-conditioning unit. Before the update, I could not make the unit turn off/on or anything else using the remote control when the Wi-Fi light was on.

I tried again this morning and the unit came on. It is certainly useful to have the remote control for those times when the phone is in another room. The remote control still shows the temperature in my preferred choice of centigrade but then it is a stand-alone item that does not synchronise with the app so I don’t really understand why it stopped working after I decided to set-up and use the app.

For the developers…if you could add a ‘save’ button to the top of the settings page so that the app remembers whether the user wants F or C and add back the facility to see the current room temperature to the inner dial, that would be great. Also, It would be good to be able to permanently dismiss the message that pops up each time I choose the cooling option about “plants drying out”. I do not need to see this every time I turn the air-conditioner on.

With these issues fixed, I would update my rating for this app to 5 stars.

I have purchased several Aigo Smart light bulbs, these work well from my phone and automatically when a timer is set but I would really like to have more conditions to choose from that should be met to switch on the lights such as when Sunset time is reached which of course changes often and so the time the light comes on changes too without any manual input making it truly automated. If you could program that into the app it would be great.

I bought led bulbs couple months back everything is fine and well with the product as well as software until 2-3 weeks ago when apple login stopped working and app would take good 5 tries before loading I have a 15 Pro iPhone running iOS 17.3 is there anything that you guys could update to fix this as without the app the bulbs are a bit useless other then emitting light
