Description
AKASO DV allows you to see what your camera sees on your smartphone or tablet in real time. You will be able to take pictures and record videos by using your mobile device as a WiFi remote. Editting your videos on the app is enabled. You can record a 10s short movie and edit it with the tools in the 10s Movie mode. Besides, download videos or pictures to your mobile device is convenient on AKASO DV app.

Unreliable and constantly freezes
I love this camera, great images and video recording at high quality. The app though is totally the opposite in terms of quality. Every time I select the album option it just crashes the app. When I start recording via the app and not the button on the camera it starts recording. However when I return to the app later it only shows recording time as the time I’ve had the app open and not total recording time. This meant I had to check to see if the camera was still recording. So I’m summary, you can start recording but after that, stick to the camera itself.
Bad
I have an AKASO EK7000 ultra HD, I decided to take it to the beach to film some videos however when I got back and tried downloading the videos on to my phone it wouldn’t work I went on to the app and it said I had no videos and when I checked the camera it said “file error” in the video folder. Luckily the photos I took I was able to download using this app.
Doesn’t Connect to Camera
I got the ek7000 for Christmas and in that time it has only connected to the app twice. The rest of the time the app just comes up with an error message telling me to turn on my wifi, when the wifi settings says my phone is connected to the camera. The other app by Akaso doesn’t work either, it won’t connect without an account and it won’t let me set up an account.
