Next new feature is the app. We know not everything on this planet needs an app. But why not use this technology for something that is predestined for easier and more accessible control. Why not work faster and more precise on set. The new app provides you all controls in the range of your fingers. Dim a light you just installed on the ceiling across the room without even moving away from your spot. Technology is all there and you are free to use it with us.
With motion control we are even going one step further. Trust your feelings and decide for yourself if you want to use it professionally or not. Motion control for the new panels is provided with the app and the optional remote control as well. Control dimming or color temperature with a tilt movement of your hand and get astonishing results with this new kind of workflow.

Extortionate price
The app does what it says, controls color temp, output and RGB. It still needs work though. Would be nice to type in specific color temp instead of use the sliders which can be fiddly. My biggest issue is the cost of this app. £30? When I’ve just paid over £1000 for the light? You seriously couldn’t give the app for free? Considering the control panel is on the light and therefore likely out of reach the app or remote is a vital add on for the Aladdin all in 1s. I get the cost with remote for manufacturing etc. But is the app that expensive to produce? Expect better
Does what its supposed too
Not sure why people are complaining that there’s no instructions. Its very easy to connect and works perfectly every time.
Terrible
This app could be so much better. I will start with the positive:
It will immediately connect to the new Aladdin all in one.
Negatives:
- can’t input values, you have to use the sliders
- no option for saturation even though you have hue and brightness
- selection of in built filters are terrible
- no option to type in RGB numbers
- when you go onto effects mode and try out an effect, it won’t get rid of the old one so it just becomes a mess. Ie: tries to do police siren while emulating a fire place.
-minus green looks way too purple. Should be more of a pink.
Aladdin seriously need to up their game with this. Disappointing.
