Pretty Poor For What You Get

I went ahead and bought the pro version of the app. What an utter disappoint. Connection frequently drops, pictures do not load and when they do, transferring to my phone never completes. Batch downloads? Forget it. You’ll be waiting for over an hour to download twenty 5.7mb photos and that’s if your connection doesn’t drop.

I’m only giving it an additional star because when it works it’s actually decent. It just doesn’t work often enough. I use the iPhone 14 Pro Max, the flagship iPhone. Therefore it’s not my phone or even my camera just this woefully inadequate app.

If the download speed is slow, please check if your phone has VPN enabled. If it is enabled, please disable it. The normal download speed should be above 5MB/s.

Poor

Like all the Sony/IOS camera apps, this again is another dreadful app. Canon and GoPro could show Sony a thing or too when it comes to just a simple app to view or transfer your footage from camera to iPad whilst away from home.

But it seems Sony don’t care and certainly don’t address the issues pointed out over the years regarding all of these apps.

Please check the following:
1. Whether the application has been granted the necessary permissions.
2. Whether the Wi-Fi SSID and password have been entered correctly.
3. If you are still unable to connect, you can manually connect to the camera Wi-Fi in the iOS system settings, and then click "Connect to Camera" in the app.

Utterly useless

Shame on first the earlier app and now this one. Can’t you guys hire a good app development company and sort out your issues. Look at the Imaging Edge Mobile Software reviews. Shame
