Really relaxing
I`ve had this app for probably over a year now and I just don’t get bored with it. Patterns just evolve as you doodle. You’re then free to share them or use them as you like. It’s so relaxing and easy just to get lost in. I highly recommend it.

5 stars for addition of layers please!
Just got an iPad Pro and this is a really great app, but as I use it for tattoo designing, I like to draw over photos of the body, then delete the photo layer and print it, so if you could bring in the use of layers it would the best app out there!
Update: pretty upset about how this app has turned out. Now it’s constantly lagging, and today I lost a whole project I was working. Still no layers. It’s a shame because if it could just work well it would be absolutely game changing as there’s nothing else out there that is even close to the idea of this. If it was the best it could be it would even be worth paying a subscription for, but it’s not there yet.
Update 2: with the bringing in of layers it has made it impossible to see all of my drawings on the home screen and therefore making it impossible to find ongoing work that I had saved there to that the layers would be saved and I continue customers work. This app has been around so long now and has so many users I did think it would’ve upped its game by now.

The concept is good, the outcome not so much.
As helpful as this program would be in theory, it falls short when it comes to actually using it. It is annoying as hell, particularly when attempting to adjust any sort of layers the sliding buttons are so irritating and unhelpful. Whenever you save something it doesn’t always load in the preview so you have to literally click on every image to load it and see if it’s the file you need to use. The brush settings are limited and mad sensitive that the tiniest movement or even just leaning on the screen and it throws such janky lines down. You’d think it’d speed the process up of designing things, where in actual fact it turns the whole thing into a feedback loop of frustration. Would probably still love designing mandalas if this program didn’t make such a headache out of the process.
