Ambee invented Dynamic Light Scenes for Philips Hue in 2013 back then known as Goldee. Carefully chosen colors, hues, shades, duration, transitions that change the colors of your bulbs and coordinate well together are hand-crafted for you.

It is a sequence of hand-crafted colors, shades at different brightness levels that move/dance/change in time to create a specific ambiance.

We start with artist-sourced photos as our palette and then create a scenario for each scene. We have invented and created proprietary software for the Light Animations created by Philips Hue lights. The Lighting Library has been growing since it was introduced.

Great app
This is a fantastic app and I would recommend this, my only gripe would be to have Siri Shortcuts so that I can integrate this to a workflow and have some scenes setup by speaking to Siri.

Hmmm
I was a big fan of the original goldee app back in the day (including the rather remarkable light switch, shame how that ended) so I had big hopes for this, but with only one fire example, it’s just not enough to justify the stumping up (the rather a lot) the cash every month to see if its any good. Yes I know there is a 7 day free trial, but a) that’s too shorter time to evaluate, and b) if the app isn’t for me I have the faff of cancelling the subscription. Really want to use this app, but I prefer the original way the old app used to work and buy what you want, which I bought quite a few before.

Love the app and the colour pallets, easy to use, plenty of variation, what’s not to like and enjoy.
Update…Yipee! The developer heard my concerns here in the UK. The cost of the app for a yearly subscription is now in my opinion in line with the US. Well worth the money an excellent app, beautiful colours, easy to use. A 5 Star winner, just try and buy.
