Every single time I book a taxi with you the driver will be on his hands free headset phone while driving. Not important quick calls , just taking away for the sake of talking. Drivers need to realise if they have a accident while on there phone they will not be covered by insurance. Only a matter of time until this happens. Amber was a fantastic service but this lay few month its gone way down hill. Seem to have a lot of idiot drivers now.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If possible, please can you email firstname.lastname@example.org with the details of the incidences you are referring to? This will enable us to investigate this matter internally and speak with our driver-partners about this. We look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Amber Cars
Last night was the second time I’d used them for ages. The driver was twenty minutes early so I had to rush to get my bag packed for work. Ended up forgetting things but at least he wasn’t late.
This morning booked on for 07:30 pick up. Fifteen minutes later no taxi so I rang and was told ten minutes wait. Great. 08:05 it was down to three minutes. 08:10 a car pulled up on the wrong side of a locked gate that I do not have a key for. Driver said, “I got lost.” Eh there are only two ways on to the point I asked to be picked up from. Sat Nav, Sat Nav use it. This woman, who had seen the car ten minutes previous said he drove over the fields off the bottom road so that’s caused some damage to the grassed area I can bet. So that’s a public park maybe covered in tyre tracks, a complete idiot who should not be driving as he got right up the rear end of traffic in front. So it adds up to a wait of near on 50 minutes by the time he sussed out how to get to me then a wacky races ride home. I will not be using these clowns again and it’s a good job it wasn’t an airport run or I’d be waving bye bye to the plane.

Hi Cas. We are sorry to hear you’ve had a negative experience with us and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this matter further and look into this for you, please can you e-mail email@example.com so we can talk to you further about your experience. Thank you.
Most of the time the drivers and service are good. However management seems to dissolve into chaos even for predictable high demand occurrences. Pre-Booked a taxi to the train station for 6:55 and only received a dispatch notification half an hour after my pick up time. Called dispatch 5 minutes after my taxi failed to show to be told that even prebookings were about 20 minutes late. This was day of Eid so many drivers taking a day off. Given this happens twice a year, a warning to customers prebooking would be useful so they shift their plans accordingly. Or perhaps offer an incentive to drivers willing to pick up shifts (as I was told mgt have no control over self employed workers) to cover a very predictable event. Similar experiences around sports events. I have no problem with a delay when I don’t prebook but with prebooking they could plan better.
Lots of ways to cope with this other than just burying heads in sand and inconveniencing loyal customers.
