Amino: Communities and Fandom 12+

This app is amazing! It is child friendly and extremely addicting! It is sort of like a kids version of Facebook or Instagram . There is also an upgrade called amino+, however, this does cost you real money( so I personally don’t have it) but the app works perfectly fine without it. There is pretty much an amino for everything! I am currently on the squishy community, leopard geckos and more! There are different jobs that you can apply for in one simple post! There are welcomers who add a welcome message to new members, head welcomers, curators who look out for trouble makers and also feature others posts and also leaders who basically run the amino. There is also an app called acm ( which I believe stands for amino community maker) where you can create your own community easily! You also have (virtual) coins which you can gift to other members and you can also gain likes, followers and comments! You can make wiki entry’s , enter different types of challenges and make your own, or participate in other people’s quizzes! Overall I think this is a very safe app, the creator(s) did an amazing job and i definitely recommend it! Five stars!👍🏻👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😁

I've been using the app for 3+ years and have never been more grateful for something in my life! I've seen amino go through plenty of changes over the years and most are for the better however there are a few things that have made the app slightly unbearable this time around:
•The public chats system has changed from newest chats at the top to now what seems a random algorithm which places old chats that haven't been used in days near the top. It can be an awful way of promoting your chat because when I used to get people joining so fast I couldn't cope I now have people joining half an hour later asking if the chat is still active.
•There is something wrong with the keyboard. I have no idea what it is but it has meant I can do nothing for the past week. Whenever I try to type the entire screen freezes up. I have tried leaving it to see if the issue would resolve itself (it didn't) and other tactics like restarting app, phone and logging off then back on. This happens on both my devices but on no other apps so I've concluded it must be something to do with the app.

I hope to see these issues resolved because otherwise amino has been an amazing app full of creative communities that mean a lot to me and others who use this app.

I’ve had this app for over 3 or more years and it used to be my go to app to talk to people and have fun while chatting with others and uploading pictures Over the years however, the app has gotten worse. 1. The communities have grown increasingly more toxic, people can’t chill out and it’s saddening to see. Communities will always have the small minority who are mean and toxic however it feels that minority thrives here 2. The app is really glitchy! It’s ridiculous, I don’t know what amino has done but it’s made this app unusable! It’s ridiculous if this is what they consider a quality app! The service just goes, it’s super slow, chat glitches, the featured page glitches, and everything else glitches. I’ve been kicked off the app 50+ times and I’m writing this as amino has kicked me out my account AGAIN. 3. When I’ve been kicked out my account a second time, I can’t contact amino because it’s so glitchy. It makes me sick that this is what I’ve put my investment to and considering I’ve got such an important friend to me on my account, it makes me really sad that I can’t reach amino’s team or even access my account through the password (WHICH IS SAVED AMINO) or the website. If this doesn’t get fixed, I won’t consider using amino again.

Edit: Nothings changed. It’s a dying app. Not worth the effort sadly. Such a waste of an innovative app
