ANAGRAMS
Try moonstarer to find astronomer, also finds smaller words such as resonator and tearooms.
CR.SSW.RDS
Use . to represent an unknown letter, try c....w... to find clockwork and crossword
CROSSWORD PHRASES
Search over 100K built-in phrases, try m.... ... ...... to find motte and bailey, miles per gallon and milky way galaxy
WORDLE
Green letters use the crossword search, eg ..e.t
Grey letters, add them to the Excludes Letters filter
Yellow letters, add them to the Contains Letters filter
SPELLING BEE
Spelling Bee puzzles are where you only use the letters provided but as many times as you like. Try $qntuaei to find: quinquina, aquanaut and queenie
BLANK LETTERS
Use + to represent blank letters, enter scrabb++ to find crabbers and scrabble.
DEFINITIONS
Press the info icon next to a word to view it's definition, example usages and synonyms. You can click on the synonyms for further info and hear the word by pressing the speak button.
Note, if no definition is found the app will search the web for a definition.
CODEWORDS & CRYPTOGRAMS
Try ..112332 to find cassette and pallette, use the filters to exclude letters you already have found.
WORD LISTS
Spanish, French and German word lists are available in the settings. Try out the US and World word lists that only contain allowable words for most games.
LANGUAGE
Español, Français, Português, Deutsch and Italiano word lists can be selected in the app's settings.

Well, this is a first because I have never written a review before. This one will be short and sweet, I have given this App ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because it does everything that it said it would. It’s easy to use, for all age groups, and there is nothing that I would want to change!.

Disappointed with update
This is my go to and has been for a few years. Latest update has made the results list in smaller type than before. So now in my opinion the default small size type is too small for skimming down the list and large size is too big. What was wrong with how it was? Just takes the 5th star off my rating.

Sorry to hear that, you can change the text size in your iOS settings. Open the settings app, go to display and brightness and you can change the text size. I will however add extra options for the text size in the app’s own settings.

This is a brilliant app. Really useful, many different ways of using it and NO ADS. Love the filter options. The only thing I’d add is to have the option of putting in the position of known letters in the anagram mode. Worth all 5 stars as it is, though. Thank you

Thanks for the great review Andie. Glad you like the filters, you can use the pattern filter to fix the position of certain letters, eg ..a...b.c
