Flashcards are no longer boring with Octagon 4D+. Created by Octagon Studio, Animal 4D+ is a fast and lightweight app that allows you to scan the printed animal cards and witness how the animals come alive right before your eyes!
The Animal 4D+ app brings you a new way of seeing animals in Augmented Reality. This gives you an unforgettable experience and will always leave a smile on the faces of children and adults alike.Animal 4D+ gives you both interesting and informative facts about animals through A to Z such as the Ant, Giraffe, Horse, Elephant and Iguana.
With the scan option and using the Animal 4D+ cards the animals spring to life. Have a giraffe on the palm of your hand or maybe you’d prefer a lion instead. You can scan a number of cards at once, why not make a zoo out of it.
Examine some of these animals up close with the 3D option. This turns that 2D sketch into a 3D moving animation which allows you to spin, turn and zoom in and out of each animal.

Very realistic 😄
Our son loves the cards. Works well with no problems. He loves looking at the animals and putting his hand near them up close. He spent so long the first time we tried it. Hope there will be some more with more features like giving the child a bit of information about the animal and where you can find them etc
Upside down?
Love the idea of this so I bought it for my little girl as she loves animals, it works fine on the normal camera mode but when I switch it to the av/vr mode to put into the viewer the screen flips so that everything is upside down, tried it a few times to see if it was meant to be like that or if I could get it right but no it’s stuck like that?
Few tweeks would be fab
Great idea and my 9 year old enjoys it but I feel the following would help
-Serial number on each card - if you loose the card containing it the cards are useless
- the pop up message that appears when you start is far too small , I had to get my magnifying glass to read it on my child’s iPod touch - it was then not obvious where to input the code
- how do you remove a device ? My child had this last Xmas and has since changed devices , reinstalled the app and now a pop up keeps appearing asking for the code but does not give anywhere to input the code
- would be totally awesome if the animals interacted with each other - I know my daughter would love experimenting with that
