Features (many are free, some are unlocked with purchases):
◉ All the expected common tools: rectangles, ovals, arrows, lines and texts.
◉ Fully customizable: colors, sizes, outlines, fonts…
◉ Stylishly obscure private information with Blur and Pixelation.
◉ Or on the contrary, highlight something with Spotlights.
◉ If you really want to focus on a particular spot use a Loupe.
◉ You can even highlight text on screenshots of apps like Notes, Twitter, and Safari. It feels like magic, and can really save the day when you want to share a web page screenshot with some words highlighted but forgot to select the words when you took the screenshot.

◆ Large images can be directly annotated and do not have to be cropped.
* Support iPhone 12.
* If you only allow Annotable to access Selected Photos on iOS 14, you can now conveniently add access to more photos by tapping the + button in album.
Ratings and Reviews
Annotation at it’s best
This is simply the best annotation App I’ve ever used, we’ve installed it on our iPads and iPhones right across our business.
An app developer we’re using to develop a bespoke app for our business is building in an ‘Exit to Annotable’ to enhance it’s functionality because it’s so good. And I’m getting fed up with being asked “Can you get Annotable for PC?”
My advice; Stop looking for annotation software and install this, the lite version is superb, but the paid version takes it to a whole new level - worth every penny.
This app is one of my most used apps. I have been using it for a while now and I find it easy and effective. It is such a help to my learning for information online. I wasn’t prompted to write this review. I just wanted to show my appreciation.
I do have a small complaint though. It is often quite tricky to move the markers on the sides and corners in prior to cropping.
Completely broken under iPadOS 14 (likely the same under iPhoneOS 14)
I can annotate, but I can’t save. The image appears to save, in that I get the roundel and a tick in the top right corner, but the image isn’t showing in Photos. There is absolutely no way to contact the developer, as the ‘app support’ link leads to a page which is entirely in Chinese, and the few bits which are in English haven’t been updated since April 2016.
I shall now have to search for another annotation app - a shame because Annotable was excellent. If it matters to you, I’d hold off updating your version of iOS/iPadOS until an update is released.
In case the developer sees this, and it matters, I’m running iPadOS 14 on a 4th generation (2020) iPad Pro.
