Antivirus Zap - Virus Scanner 4+

A while back, I bought a PC which came with a well-known anti-virus package already installed.
However, this package failed to detect malware on the PC which I now know must have been introduced at this time.
Subsequently, when the trial period for the original anti-virus package expired, I paid for a package from another well-known provider.
This package also failed to detect the malware.
When my printer stopped working, I assumed the fault was with the printer and rang Epson. They dialled in and said that they could see 4 spyware viruses on the PC. At first I didn’t belive them but then I had the PC checked by an IT specialist who confirmed that the viruses were there. There was nothing wrong with the printer. The viruses were causing the PC to malfunction.
When I rang the anti-virus provider about this, they were not remotely helpful and talked about charging me extra to investigate.
This just goes to show that paying a lot of money does not always mean that you will get something worthwhile!
This time I chose Antivirus Zap because of the good reviews.
I have only had this package for a few months now and it has not found anything wrong - but I am trusting that this is because there has not been anything to find!
Also, their customer service is great. When I first got the app, I contacted them to ask for information. Received a very quick and helpful response.

My Imac has been infected with the safe finder browser hijacker for several months. I have tried everything to remove this annoying and persistent malware, previous attempts included reinstalling mac os, removing and reinstalling Chrome,running various anti virus and malware removal tools ,including cleanmymac.
I had began to give up hope and concluded that i had to get rid of my iMac,as i was not prepared to use a different browser. i came across this app in the App store and decided to give it a try, with renewed vigour i ran the tool and removed the three items found, still the safe finder redirect was there. I was getting by with using new page redirect as a compromise. After reading reviews from other users i decided to contact the support team who responded within 2 days with a helper tool.
BINGO my imac is rid of this curse and performing optimally.

I had a virus on my MacBook Air which at first none of us noticed but it started to make everything very slow, i could update the macbook and no mount of times you restarted it, it wouldn’t make it any better. I knew something was very wrong when you used the search bar on the safari it would take you to a yahoo safe finder searcher rather than google which is my search engine. I started to google ways to get rid of it and it just kept showing i need to reinstall it on the extensions part of the sytem preferences i tried this numerous times and still wouldn’t get rid of it, so i searched for a anti virus on the app store and its well worth the money after a couple of scans it got rid of the alot of infections in the system then after getting in touch with the support people they helped further and now my pc is back to work as normal.
