Custom Cities

Just installed. It’s not bad, but is limited to certain cities. I have a client in Houston, but there is no option for Houston. Instead I have had to chose Chicago as it is same time zone. I understand that not all cities can be listed. Houston is quite a big place though! Even so, a simple facility to add a custom city would be great. Even better would be a central db so users can do the work for you! We add the cities to your db, you’d very quickly get a full list of cities.

Also I clicked on the link for support and got a 404 page. Not helpful :(

When it works it is good

In this age of having global connections and meetings over Skype etc, you need to know what time it is in different parts of the world at a glance. This app is great for that, but unfortunately it does not always appear on the top bar. I have figured out there are a few reasons for that. One is if you have too much on the top bar anyway there isn't enough space. The other may be related but it doesn't always open at login, depite me setting it like this. When it works, it is really useful. Set up is a bit fiddly and not intuitive but once you understand it, it is fine.

Good idea, lazy developer

The idea of a coloured alternative time zone on the menu bar is great BUT:
- Developer was to lazy to fill in country and city names
- If you click on 24hr box, you had it and you can’t change it unless you delete the entry and start over
- If this app has only one fixed feature, showing a time zone, why is it not running in the background and appears in cmd+tab app list
