Music Whizz ,

Pretty Useless

Not impressed with this app. It has minimal functionality and why is the scaling so large? It should be possible to see all of the settings on a single screen without having to scroll. No mixer functionality either. Very poor implementation.

Could be excellent

This would be an excellent app if it’s functionality included the ability to adjust mixer parameters, thereby giving recording artists the ability to set up their own headphone mixes from their recording position without needing to move to the computer.
I realise that the products for which this app is designed are legacy products, but there are thousands of Element and Ensemble Thunderbolt interfaces still in use around the world, and it would be great if Apogee would take a leaf out of RMEs book, and keep supporting them. In my opinion the Ensemble Thunderbolt is still one of the best and most versatile interfaces available - far more so than the new Ensemble Studio, at least for my use case. There is nothing in Apogee’s current catalogue which would tempt me away from my Ensemble Thunderbolt, and I’ll continue to use it until it finally dies. Sadly it’s full potential isn’t realised by this app, and probably never will be. Shame.

deaf thanks to the volume ,

Mixer control - PLEASE

Currently this is just a preamp controlling app. If you were able to control the various software mixers that are available in the OS X app then this iOS app would be amazing - musicians would be able to sort their own monitor mixes. Please add this functionality, realise your app’s full potential and I’ll happily give you 5 stars!
