Elevate your Arccos Experience with LINK:
The small, ultralight wearable allows Arccos players to capture their shot data without having to carry a phone on the course. LINK seamlessly pairs with the Arccos app and sensors. Worn on a player’s belt, waistband, or pocket, it tracks shots in real-time – including the club used and precise location – and automatically transfers the data to a player’s phone via Bluetooth, either during or after the round. This allows golfers to play the game their way, freeing them to keep their phone in a cart, bag, back pocket, or elsewhere.

User error

I’ve used these for almost a year now with the link and Apple Watch. Yes they miss the odd putt but nothing major. Read lots of 1 star reviews with people having issues and would like to point out these people are having “user errors”. My son got the also a few weeks ago and was having issues but whilst playing with him I should him how to correctly use them and now he has little to no problems. Also reviews complaining about the pins on greens being off???? Pins move on greens everyday so yes your correct but developers can know pin placements with the link you walk to the flag and press the button then the pin is set correctly and sorts that for everyone using the coarse that day.

As a new golfer I’ve found arccos fantastic and yes it’s pricey but for me worth it. Just make sure you spend a little time to figure out the quirks and you’ll get everything out them.

Arccos review

Sadly I’ve not been able to play too much at moment but I have had these for almost a year now and as some previous reviewers have mentioned, it has missed the odd shot.
Nothing is perfect in the world of apps and this is in my opinion one of the best apps on the market.
I have the screw on sensors and no issues at all, always check on taking club out and check on putting away and have never lost one. The stats are superb and informative.
I have used the garmin ct10 and they are also good but not as comprehensive as arccos.
Expensive membership? Yes! Worth it? Depends on what you want from an app and know where your game needs to improve. Nothing is free these days and arccos do carry out regular updates.
There are negatives to the app in so much as it can be fiddly at times in regard to adding or removing shots, penalties etc. this is more I think user error on my behalf, however I do struggle with it at times. I use my phone as I have found the link too unreliable and difficult keep attached without adding a lanyard. Some have mentioned placing on your shoelaces sand I have not tried this yet.
Hopefully getting an Apple Watch soon so will see how that goes.
Go for a 45 day trial, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed but if you are just cancel. 45 days is a good amount of time to make a informed decision on the product.
Just remember that some functions will not work until you have played at least 90 holes (5 games) .

Loving the App!

I’ve really been enjoying using the app and sensors over the last couple months, the stats help massively with pin pointing what you need to work on in your game. Also helps with getting more out of golf lessons, very non intrusive once all setup it misses the odd shot but easily sorted on the app. Also I love the fact it incorporates wind and elevation to give you plays like distances which I’ve not seen in any other golf apps I’ve used.

Couple things I’d like to see added, when your playing you get the wind speed and direction on the screen. It would be great to see that on the screen when reviewing your shots/round from the activity page. Reason being I might of hit a 7 iron 10 yards shorter than normal and it could of been a slight miss hit or could of been wind into face but I might not remember after the round, seems like an easy thing to just apply over the hole overview.

One other feature request I would like would be able to remember pin positions from the previous round, i play regularly at the same course and the pins may be in the same positions when I last played. So it would be great to have the option to have previous pin position option when you start your round.

Thanks and keep up the good work!!
