I’ve been playing this game for almost two years now, and you can truly feel the passion the Devs put into this.
The game is very f2p friendly. Nothing is unlocked behind a paywall, you can clear all content with starter operators the game gives to you. The Gacha system is good too with Rate up, pity and the chances for 6* operators are high. Along with that, if you fail to get the 6* operator you want they will go into the off banner pool of characters, meaning you can pull them rate-off, unless it’s a limited time banner which usually only happens once or twice a year.
The lore and story are extremely detailed and thought out, it touches on some dark themes, yet keeping the story interesting and entertaining.
Operator designs and play styles are all unique and well thought out, I’m personally in love with almost every operators design and they look so well, the art in this game is another level
If your considering downloading this game but are still on the fence, I’d 100% recommend playing it, at first the layout and gameplay may be a might confusing and unappealing, but please give it a try, the more you progress further into the game the more fun content you unlock, and the more your understanding of the game grows. I’m sure the whole arknights community would love to see some new players, welcome home doctor.

One of the most F2p gacha games I’ve ever played, even the skins you can earn for FREE. Has a weekly stage you can clear that gives you a ten roll a month, then they’re always sending extra rewards in your inbox and you can get free rolls in the shop buying it with green certs which you earn also for free. There are only 2 limited banners a year one for half anniversary and one for anniversary, which is fair. The only reason I buy any packs is the anniversary ones and I don’t even need them I buy them to support the devs because it’s such a rarity in gacha for it to be so fair Even the rates aren’t bad, whenever you get a 6* you have a 50% chance to get the rates up one which is one of the best rates up I’ve seen

Lastly as an update: I live in the UK and they have changed the shop so it is not converted as $1 to £1 which is used to be, very happy they fixed it

This is the only mobile game I have stuck with. As a console gamer I usually prefer RPGs, but Arknights is fun and interesting with frequent updates that continuously add new operators, levels and events. As an english speaker I wish they used english VAs during the fights, but the main story is subtitled so you don’t really miss anything important. However the lore does suffer a little if you can’t speak the language. This is a great tower defence game and unlike most, has a fair amount of well designed male operators.
