Each of the 22 sound programs target sounds in the initial, medial and final positions of words, sentences and stories. The majority of sounds (p,b,m,d,n,t,k,g,f,v,ch,j,z,sh,th) have 60 target words each. The l,r and s sound programs target blends as well. Additionally the r sound program has ALL the vocalic r's!

Please fix recording feature
Brilliant app-everything you need all in one, but the record and playback feature does not work which is a real shame. I would rate 5 stars otherwise.
One of my best purchases
I have been using Articulation Station for a number of years. It is not cheap but given that I use it almost daily it has been a great investment.
Gone are the hours wasted searching for clip art pictures. They are there at a glance. Some of the pictures are clearly only of use in US, but you can easily edit them out from a word list and save it.
I have recommended to a number of parents and they all seem happy, the purchase of single sounds does not work out expensive per family. Of course you do have to remind parents that an adult has to be with the child while playing to give feedback about their responses. However the pictures are lovely and the app has activities that engage the child.

Pay per letter
Nothing is free, so I can’t rate how well any of it works. Every time you tap on a letter, it asks if you want to go to the store. If you select “no”, it takes you back to the screen with the letters. If you select “yes”, it takes you to another screen with an upgrade offer £54 or more, and more letters. If you then click on a letter, you are then shown a price for that letter and all of the sounds, words, and phrases that it contains. Each letter is around £2 . No fanks!
