I’m a regular reader of news articles on apps and in my opinion this app needs a revamp and should be made simpler and needs to be quick at adding new news/articles.
The reporter Programme
I have been watching the “The Reporter “ since it was hosted by Sabir Shakir and Arif Hamid Bhatti.
I really enjoy the analysis presented in this programme.
I am afraid since Mr Khawaja Ghuman has taken over, there are few things I want to say. I must mention here that he is a very good analyst and no body will deny that.
I need to mention few things which should be taken into account as a constructive criticism and reflective learning.
I notice that in the begging he always says “Salam-o-aliekum Nazareen” to the best of knowledge it should be “Asalam-o-alaikum “. The second thing is we should be respectful to all the politicians and dignitaries. I have noticed lately that he addresses everybody some people with a way like they are younger than him. Like
وہ کہتا ہے وہ کرے گا بجاے وہ کہتے ہیں
I think we should be respectful to everybody.
Hope these are good suggestion to follow as many a time Mr Ghulam Hussain had also told him to use proper words but he had ignored them many time.

Trying to reinvent the wheel
The Ary News app was great before. It was easy to navigate, the interface was nice and clean and the stories were somewhat regularly updated. But it seems as if ARY digital wants to compromise on the quality of its service for the sake of extra ad revenues.
The user friendly aspect has vanished. The simple gestures of going back to home page or back page have become tedious by scrolling up and then clicking cross to go back rather than the arrow which was abled from any part of the story. There are far too many ads popping up and covering the real estate of the actual interface. Its just gone crazy. I think i will be using Geo News app more than this if not fixed soon!
