Love it this Experience
Someone on Twitter mentioned they completed the “Year in the Bible” podcast with Fr Mike on December 31st. She said it was an amazing experience and raved about taking this journey with Fr Mike. I was intrigued and so immediately downloaded the App and started my journey with Fr Mike the very next day. The podcast is proving to be exactly what I need to enhance my spiritual journey. As a practicing Catholic, I have read parts of the Bible (reading St Luke’s gospel one chapter a day in December finishing on December 24th is a lovely tradition), and I hear the gospel and reading in church, I can honestly say, I’ve never read the whole Bible until now. Fr Mike breaks complicated chapters down to its meaning today. The app is full of information and a joy to go into every day. There’s even a Facebook community to join for further connection. I highly recommend you take this journey too and enjoy the app like I do!

A very thoughtful approach
I have tried to read through the Bible twice previously, to no avail..! But this approach, based on the God’s plan in scripture and the Bible timeline makes so much sense and helps me to see and better understand scripture and God’s overarching plan for us. I’ve been apprehensive of picking Bible study resources because I’m well aware of some people injecting their own flawed views into the interpretations… but this being hosted by a priest and being I guess somewhat endorsed by the Catholic Church, I feel so much at ease in opening up my view points through these studies. Thank you to all at Ascension Press for making this freely available to people like me….!

I’ve been waiting for Ascension to launch an app for a long time, they’re just amazing; they’re helping me rekindle my faith with such joy and their Bible and cathecism in a year is so blessed and helpful, they have so many courses in this app it’s hard to keep track, there really is something for everyone! So easy to use and keep track of your progress as well if you’re catholic or just want to learn more about Catholicism this app is an absolute must have!
