Assoluto Racing 4+

I have been playing Assoluto since it came out and have enjoyed every second it is one of the best mobile racing games out there. sadly recently no matter what graphical settings I change to help make it run smoother it crashes whenever I try to load in a track/race it is also lags quite a lot and overall is not the most fun of experiences I play on a iPhone 7 which is a 4 year old phone so it’s not really old. I understand that as more updates come out the game will require faster and better hardware to run it but I think it should still be able to run on at least the lowest graphics settings and not lag and crash the game. Apart from this performance issue that has started over the last couple of days I still like this game a lot and when it was working properly for me it was a really good and fun game to help pass the time. I have written this review mostly To warn who ever is thinking of installing the game and let you know that anything a couple of years old might start to struggle running it.

I love this game. Having played asphalt 8,9, CSR1, CSR2, Real Racing 3, Rebel racing and others, I truly feel this is the pinnacle of mobile racing. I adore the mechanics, and the special editions of cars really give you something to work towards too. However, there are still a few things I’m not sure on:

1: optimisation

I play on an iPhone XR, and whenever I modify a car, I can’t seem to back out of whatever menu I entered without going all the way back to the main menu and then back into customisation and performance. Not a deal breaker but gets annoying.

2: aspect ratio

Again, on my XR, having the little thing at the top that comes down to hold the microphone for your mobile phone, I have things on the main menu hiding behind there like settings, and it makes them harder to click.

3: driving school

What on earth is this? Honestly, anybody who has played Assoluto will be with me here. I have finished the unmodified series, a solid way through the modified series yet I still can’t complete the first challenge on the driving school mission and get gold? It’s meant to be a driving school, yet the missions in the races themselves are far easier.

Aside from these, truly fantastic game and the pinnacle of mobile racing. Will recommend

This is a great game. I like the range of tracks (the rally tracks are also good) and the game includes some great cars. I think the game should have a few more car brands but the existing ones are great. I do wish more cars could be bought with CR (because I think it is quite hard to get the coins, the ones that say AR on them) and also I wish more body kits were available. The AI could be a little better in some places but they still drive pretty well. I wish you could race at more than just the six tracks in custom race game mode. The drifting events are good. I like the way the aerodynamic parts can move and the track layouts are good at copying the real-life ones. The multiplayer mode is good but on quick race I wish you could play against more than just one other player. It is super fun in my opinion and I would recommend it to car fans. Another great feature is that you can do a lot for free. Overall it is a great game.
