Mr

Audio CD maker is very simple to use and the sound quality is OK. The big problem is that it randomly adds a 1/2 second piece of audio (from the previous track) in between tracks. I have tried it several times with different makes of discs. Same problem. You have to listen to every track, right to the end, to detect it. Also you never know where it’s going to occur. It happens when using data discs and audio disks - when creating audio CDs.
The disk I burnt had 70 mins of audio on it - so I don’t think it is a capacity problem. As it is, then, it is unusable.

This isn’t it

I was looking for a CD compilation app with the features of the late, lamented Toast Lite. Well, this definitely isn’t it.

When you add tracks to Audio CD Maker’s window they are, by default, arranged alphabetically and you can’t rearrange them. If you want your tracks to play in an order that suits you, the work-around seems to be to number them before you load them. But that assumes you are sure of the order you want them in, and you need to be sure, because you can’t play them from within the app to test how they sound in sequence.

And even then, you’ll find you can’t save the tracklist you’ve made so that you can come back to it later. Plus, you are given no control over the spacing between the tracks.

In short, don’t throw away your money on this half-baked waste of space.
