Useful utility
I wanted a utility that could concatentate several audio files into one. This program can do more than that, but I haven't tested the other functions.
There is no help facility or manual (what did you expect at the price?) However, it's relatively easy to guess how to configure the program to work how you want it to.
The only missing feature which I would like to see is the option to add a few seconds silence between files when joining them.
Simplicity
Needed an app to split a file into multiple files. This one couldn't be easier to use, zero learning curve, and it does the job perfectly - all for 99p.
You can split a single file into 3 to 10 parts. If you require to split the parts further, simply rename the newly created 'split' folder to prevent the app from adding the next split to the first split. Then split your multiple files again into 3 to 10 parts.
Love this app. Haven't used it to merge, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't equally easy. Thanks, dev!
Best in its Class!
The app does exactly what it says on the tin, which is more than can be said for the 3 apps i tried prior to this one.
I have 100s of audiobooks that were split into 20 odd files of 3-5 minute sections. This worked ok on my ipod when loaded as music, but i wanted my music and audiobooks to be separate. I tried lots of naming and filing formats with little success. I decided that the best way forward was to merge all the snippits into one large file and this app does that quickly and reliably.
