Great piece of kit
I’ve had this lock now for nearly 2 years without any problems at all. However, I would welcome integration with other wireless devices for example the “ring doorbell” and eve wi-Fi switches. August have told me they are working on it, but they have told me that the last six months. I guess we will just have to be patient and wait, and wait some more. In the meantime the lock is the business, it does exactly what it says on the can, no more and no less.
It is rather expensive but the price
is coming down I am Arjun to compete with similar devices which are less expensive.

Couple of small niggles
I like this product. There are just a few small issues letting it down.
It constantly alerts that the battery is low just days after changing them. This has happened several times with different batteries.
You can only invite guests by phone number. There’s no option for email.
When guests go through the sign up process they end on a confusing screen asking them if they want to set up a new August device. If they’re accepting a guest invite that’s obviously not what they’re trying to do.
We bought a second hand keypad to go with this but we’ve not been able to get it to pair.
If you could fix those things this product would be great.

Tempromental
When it works - fantastic! If opening door from the inside, turning lock manually, it can off set the lock which causes problems. Not everyone knows how far lock can be turned to unlock. We have visitors so when they leave it can be turned too far. Also, unable to invite guests via their phone. Only option is to invite airbnb guests? My family are not airbnb.. more clarity needed
