Aunty Knife is an innovative student led initiative funded by the Home Office and developed by Neesie, created to act as a tool of reference and protection for youths at risk of becoming involved within criminal activity, particularly knife crime.

This quirky take on the ANTI slogan, derives from the notion of every household having an 'Aunty figurehead' whom takes responsibility to inform the youngster of the dangers surrounding them.
The aim of the app is to engage young peoples minds to think carefully about the decisions and consequences around knives and their lives. It will be used to actively engage young people along a journey where they will experience the true life devastation of knife crime.

I hadn’t lived before downloading this app

Wow. My life has changed forever. The way it empowers
young children is incredible and is spectacular at raising awareness. It’s almost as good as mario kart. I am flabbergasted by the way it has changed my life. I have changed my ways with knifes, now I use scissors. Since downloading this app I have told my friends about this app and one of my close friends has put down the knife for good. All I can say is thank you. #knifecrime

There is a wealth of information in this app that is invaluable for informing anyone about knife crime. Highly recommended for parents and children alike.

Helpful for everyone

This app is an extremely useful site for children and adults to learn all about the horrors of knife crime. I think it will vastly benefit communities in areas where knife crime is a serious threat.
I found that some videos were restricted on YouTube but that is the only downside.

Connor Elliot is a beast.
