Aurora Lighting, one of the world’s largest privately owned LED lighting and technology organisations has launched its range of smart home lighting devices enabling homeowners to take full control of their home through their smartphone.
Aurora is introducing its first, innovative and vast range of ‘Smart Inside’ products enabling homeowners and small business owners to take control over their lighting and sockets. Featuring all varieties of lighting, from downlights to bulbs, switches and sockets, AOne offers a single solution for connecting your building.
Use our app to control, schedule and scene your lighting to create new ambiances and energy saving schedules that enhance your home, and your business, more convenient. Create an unlimited combination of groupings to conveniently control any device in any space and recall your preset scenes and configurations at a touch of a button from anywhere, whether you’re sitting at home, or out at work, or with friends. Supporting Amazon Alexa, you can ask her to turn your devices on or off and trigger your favourite scenes.
In combination with smart scheduling and new sensor types, you can automate your home, triggering your favourite scenes at different times of day, or when you enter your home, or office, to make your spaces intelligent.
This release gives the user the option of switching AOne voice control on or off; support for a new and exciting battery wall dimmer coming out soon and a fix for a random bug found with pairing reported since the last release.

I’m trialing a few light, bulbs and remotes before taking the plunge and installing in the house I’m currently being built. I REALLY want this to work, but at the moment the software isn’t quite there. Loading and syncing is slow. The way to choose colours is mint as good as hue. When you edit a scene it seems to forget its current settings- so if you just want to check your settings you loose them. Occasionally the remote is slow to change the lights. Alexa support does seem to work, no HomeKit support. AOne- please keep rolling out the updates!!!
App needs work.
Really needs dusk to dawn schedules like many other smart lamps apps.
A review from over a year ago also asks for this?
Latest FW & App work great with Alexa
I’ve installed several of the AOne hubs to work alongside Echo & Echo plus hubs and once setup they work really well. The hub and app have a few bugs but with each update they are slowly becoming far and few.
The system works really well as an affordable alternative to controlled garden lighting system we regularly install.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
