The perfect way to read the forums
The SA forums are one of the few remaining areas of the internet that haven’t been corrupted by endless greed, need for infinite growth, algorithm-driven content feeds, optimisations for engagement, impressions and advertiser-friendly content censorship.
You can still just view everything arranged chronologically and no awful Reddit-style upvoting to drive lowest common denominator trash.
The Awful app is incredibly polished and makes navigating and customising the layout a breeze. If the devs decided they needed to move to a monthly subscription model to continue development, I would gladly pay them $5 a month for the value they add.

Better than using the web version by far.
Best way to read the forums!
I didn't realise how much I used this app until the forums re-design broke it. There really is no other way to read the forums on an iPhone or iPad.
The developer frequently updates the app with requested features and is very active in the official thread.
