Description
Ayah By Ayah is a simple, easy to use app that will play the recitation of a single Ayah.
Inspired by the hadith: Umm Salamah رضي الله عنها was asked about the recitation of the Rasool of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم so she said, "He used to pause in his recitation, Ayah by Ayah (Ahmad, Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi)
The motivation behind the app was that as you are reading the Qur'an, you come across certain Ayah's which you may find difficult to recite correctly or are not sure where to make a stop.
Rather then opening the Surah on your mp3 player and trying to fast forward to the particular Ayah which is not practical, a simple interface is shown where you select the Surah and Ayah and Play.
That's all there is to it.

Masha-Allah Excellent App!!
I downloaded this app almost 9 years ago and it was simply amazing covering all areas such as reading, listening, hifz and translation. Now, 9 years later, the developer has added many additional features which makes it even more amazing. The app is very beneficial for both general reading and for students who want to do Hifz. I was especially impressed on the simplicity and easiness it had to listen and go through any ayah of the Quran, use translate tool with a simple touch on the screen or select a different reciter.
I would recommend that anyone using the app for the first time to go and familiarise the functions it has instead of just trying to jump in and start using it because there’s lots of options you’ll miss out on to fully benefit from the app.

Masha'Allah just wanted to say I really do love this app it's simple and exactly what I was looking for as sometimes you want to quickly go over a particular ayah that you find difficult. Have had the app for a while now and it is very practical and helps with perfecting my reading. Also having the English translation is great. I have just found out from reading the spec about the landscape mode so another bonus!

Beauty in simplicity
Clear and intuitive to use, a great companion for use during Ramadan and beyond. A lot of interfaces tend to be bloated unnecessarily, this developer has shown you could do a lot more whilst still retaining the design language we have loved about Apple. May Allah bless you for your exemplary efforts! Would have been more than happy to pay for this
