What a terrible experience with this “B” thing!
Please can I have the old Yorkshire Bank app back please?
This “B” thing will not let me log in, in spite of the fact that I have been logging in on the old app for yonks.
This, coupled with the fact that just about all my local branches have gone means I will have to switch banks. More avoidable waste of effort and time.
Ok, went back to my windows 10 laptop. Got into my account with no problem, checked balances etc, logged out.
Reinstalled the iOS app on my iPad, lo and behold, it says I do not have an account! I need to phone an 0800 number to open an account!
Visited a branch the other day and the teller says that in order to use the “B” thing I need to open a new account! That appears to be the reason why I cannot use the app! How come currently active accounts are not seamlessly moved over pray tell? Now I know what the B stands for, but too much of a gentleman to spell it out! It does seem strange though that I can access the B thing on my laptop, using my current log in details, but not the app! Now come on chaps, I am sure you can sort this out, after all, you are the boys that can!

Too much and to little
I haven’t got anything good to say about this app is colours are terrible you can’t see the writing is lots of features on it but it’s not customisable I don’t want to see my savings I try to forget about them so I can’t make this appear I get messages all the time even though I’ve turned them off I know that I’m overdrawn I can’t tell when my bank charges are due or how much they are so I have to look for the letters I think they should simplify it and put more effort into letting you customise the colours yourself and the size of the writing sometimes I can’t see how much money I’m transferring and I don’t always want to put a reference to it also the app for the iPad only works one way so you can’t turn the screen up right which is quite annoying when you’re in a rush altogether this app is okay but there is room for a lot more improvement that should simplify it OR make it more customisable In its appearance and size of writing it is also very inaccurate do not trust this balance on your account because it does not show and things disappear off it I only use it now to transfer money I don’t rely on her at all I keep pen and paper of my outgoings
Not the best
I started off with an amazing experience with this app and loved Yorkshire bank for it. In the past year I have had nothing but trouble with it! It doesn’t tell me how much money I have one minute it’s so much the next it’s in minus. The next it’s adding random money. The amount of times I have had to ring up to be told “I don’t know where your money has gone it’s not showing up on our system even when it’s not showing up on my account where the money has gone. Not to mention the countless times I have not received a text telling me the money will debit my account and just taking money. Recently I had 2 pound in my account to be told I needed to put money in my account I stoped the outgoing so I had money in my account and STILL had 15 pound leave my account for unarranged fees I’m now in my minus which I can’t afford with a 2 month old baby. I have been looking for new banks because it’s starting to get ridiculous. Just hope it goes back to how it was a few years ago.
