I bought so many things from band q. Everything smashed. Result very good. I bought before paint, mixed paint, ladder, defused. And fan we put water in. Wall papers so many things. Every thing smashing. Vileda stuff. Wow, I love to keep going. So many times made keys as well. Bought from online as well. Very happy. Reasonable prices. I compared many times. Best was always b and q. Thankyou so much 🙏 i definitely recommend others. All products are really good. And they advise fully. And online so many sales as well. problems. Change as well. Thanks. We buy from others shops stuff as well but b and q is very special stamp on. That’s why the quality very good. When we gone for paint. They help wisely. And customer service fantastic. You don’t have to go their. They come to you. Not only that . Recommend and choices their too. They help every way. Even thru take you their. Really appreciate Thankyou

The latest update has turned this into a slow, frustrating, clumsy and awkward to use app, and they’ve removed some extremely helpful features that both customers AND their own staff use all the time - one of which is the barcode scanner! You can no longer quickly scan an item in store to find all the details about it online. The other thing that’s been removed is the right swipe to go back a page (it does work on some pages, but not all), now you have to reach to the very top left corner of the screen to tap to go back a page. The app is much slower now, regularly crashes, pictures take forever to load (if at all), and the new loading animations are totally unnecessary. Another annoying thing is that the Product Details, Specification, and Reviews sections on each item page are now hidden in pop up/expanding boxes, which when you want to close you also have to reach to the very top right corner of the screen. Why even change it to this style when it was fine before, but why not make it possible to swipe/drag down to close each of these sections. Phone screens are BIG nowadays, but the human hand has not grown to have a 6 inch thumb reach! App developers - if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!!

Poor colour marking wastes products and B&Q Customer funds

My wife purchased Sika All weather self setting paving jointing compound from B&Q DIY Falmouth. SKU 850JjThe packaging on what is actually a range of products (colourways) is more or less identical bright yellow and green and the actual colour swatch is very small and indistincton the large 15kg tub . B&Q displayed the 4 different colourways all jumbled up in their store in Falmouth with no differentiation of colour or warning there were different colours. My wife took the nearest to hand(they are heavy)On starting the job we opened the bags to discover the wrong colour (black grouting) B&Q refused to exchange it for the correct colour (because we had broken the seal). Understandable, but bearing in mind they jumbled all the colours together they do bear some responsibility… they blame the product manufacturer.The product manufacturer Sika clearly could take steps to make the Colour differentiation of grout clearer on the tops etc. I called them to point this out. Multiple people failed to spot the difference. Now the black grouting is a waste product I have to get rid of. I have had to pay twice for the product. Come on B&Q/ sika let’s stop unnecessary waste… many people will have this stupid experience if you don’t get your packaging sorted out.

New store in Sutton High Street

I have just visited the new local store in Sutton high st and must say it is superb. For a local it is extremely well stocked with everything you need, if they don’t have something you can get it for next day collection from the store. They have a click and collect so you can order online and collect the same day or next day. The range is what you would expect with everything from paint to nails wood to light bulbs, the store also has a kitchen and bathroom design area, the staff are very professional and knowledgeable about the range of products they sell, they are extremely helpful and go the extra mile to assist customers a truly efficient team, would recommend the store for all your DIY needs.
