Not to shabby

Quality this app has real class, the only thing I would say is it is missing the option of hearing one tune through headphones before dropping in a blend!!! This would be most helpful when trying to beat match, this will undoubtedly lead to a random stampede until you gain the correct speed during your mix whilst it plays out through the main iPad speakers. Hoping for a possible update? Plleeeaseee. Good quality app though defiantly recommend especially for the ease of importing your own tunes and the scratching layout is good fun if not a little bit tricky to master, but hey that's a good thing. All in all a big thumbs up.

Scratch?

With all the hype surrounding the new "djay" app, I'm surprised Baby Decks DJ isn't getting a mention.

Sure, djay has a few extra features and the likes, i would say djay is purely for mixing. Baby Decks DJ, on the other hand, I would say is built for turntablism. The scratching in this app is far better than the rival djay application and despite a definite sluggish implementation of the iPod music library in this app, I'm sticking to it rather than the other.

UPDATE: With the newest update, this app has actually become completely unusable. I am running on iOS5 Beta, and that may be the cause, but now I can no longer scratch, or use the cross fader — what's the point in the app?

Good but needs update to help....

This is a good app although a little pricey. Lacks the ability to be able to use music straight from your iPad music library and instead uses an Internet address so you can upload each song straight to your iPad. I would like to see an update so that you can go straight into your library from the app itself.

I would also like the choice to be able to play one song through my iPad speak and one on my headphones to help with mixing. That would make this app very impressive.
