SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS
Your first year on Balance is free. After that, Balance offers two auto-renewing subscriptions at $11.99/month and $69.99/year. These prices are for United States customers, pricing in other countries may vary.

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription term unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the term. Subscription renewals cost the same as the original subscription, and your credit card will be charged through your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase.

Balance also offers a Lifetime subscription which is paid for by a one-off upfront payment of $399.99 with unlimited access to the Balance library forever.

Do yourself a favour - download Balance!

I’ve been trying for many years to establish a meditation practice. Needless to say, without much substantial success. But since I started using Balance, my life and myself (i.e. my mind), have changed. Not a sudden 180 degree kind of change, more of a soft/kind, progressive, deep and long-lasting change. The kind of change everyone talks about when stating the benefits of meditation. From day one, everything about the Balance app took me by complete surprise. From the minimal design, to the navigation, the user experience, the customisation, the content(!), and the 12-month free trial, everything is beautiful, carefully thought out, soothing, effective, caring, and simply brilliant tbh! I’ve now been meditating almost every day for over 3 months (missed a few days here and there, but that’s ok) and I can’t believe how much my attitude towards meditation has changed. Meditation is not a burden any more, meditation is now a pure blessing, something i look forward to every day, something i miss terribly when I don’t get to do it. I am more relaxed, more content with my life, more in control of it (if that’s even possible). I started working out again (something i gave up because I couldn’t find the time nor mental strength any more), and i can finally stop when faced with a difficult challenge and step back to see the big picture while taking one moment at a time.

In love with this app

Honestly it’s so refreshing to use this app and the fact it’s free for a year is insanely good. It genuinely makes you feel like the people that created this care about the well-being of its consumers. I struggle with mental health issues and this app is one of the many I use to give myself balance- which is ironically what it’s called! I’ve told my therapist about this app because she’s always looking for things to help her clients in day to day life. I’ve also told a bunch of my friends too because I think that the political and social climate is stressful enough and this app will help in whatever way they need even if it’s just to help them get more focus or motivation in their day. I’m not new to meditations and some of the techniques used in this app but the use of “labelling” has been something I’ve learnt that really changed my perspective of my reactions to things which is a key part of therapy for my borderline personality diagnosis. Being able to see when I “think”, “feel” and “judge” is a game changer. So I really appreciate this app. Will guarantee using this long after the years trial is up. And I’m happy to advocate to anyone I know that is struggling and needs a little more zen in their life. Good job developers. Also Ofusu has such a way of speaking that makes you feel at ease. The kind of person you feel would make a great friend. 10/10 guys

stress relief, life skills

this app is, surprisingly, incredibly personalized. it takes you down a tree of different possible paths, tailoring the meditations offered to your needs, your anxieties, and your preferences. this app listens to you and interacts with you in a way that you know that the team behind it cares about you.

i have never reached such a level of peace in my life before having started with Balance. it’s improved my concentration and observation skills, which carry over into the quality of my writing as an academic. i sleep better at night. i haven’t felt anxious in months. this isn’t an end-all be-all, but it bestows upon you the necessary skills to live healthy and in the moment, and allows you to find out for yourself what “healthy” and “in the moment” mean for you.

i used to always become frustrated for “failing” to meditate or clear my mind. Balance taught me that (1) trying is better than nothing, and (2) trying leads to achievement. progress is the goal, not perfection. this lesson has deeply permeated all other aspects of my life. for this i am grateful.
