Good fun
This game is pretty fun, It would be better if they could work on the physics sim, and gravity. Maybe have a complete sandbox mode where you just destroy stuff. There’s a great variety of weapons. And maybe add some moving targets for added difficulty.
Aside from the uncoloured buildings, very visually appealing, great lighting and smoke.
I don’t want to consent to ad tracking
In between the adverts its a fun game, however, upon downloading I agreed to the privacy settings to allow analytics and support, however I don't want to be “sent more relevant ads” so I unticked it, however, theres a catch.... unless you agree to everything there is a water mark message that takes up nearly a quarter of your screen stating “you are limiting our ability to maintain the game to fix this issue please tap here”.... there is no way to get rid of this unless you allow Ad tracking... but heres the thing, you still get inundated with adverts nearly after each level anyway... they state that by not allowing ad tracking that the advertisers are paying them less... I don’t know if this is a guilt trip to the users or not but it comes across as “we’re not getting paid enough because you want a bit of privacy”... oh well, I’m deleting now anyway
Personal data grabbing.
I have reviewed literally zero apps until now. The only reason I’m reviewing base attack is because of one thing the developers have done. I’ve played for ten seconds after setting my data preferences and there is a massive watermark covering the centre of the screen that only goes away if you let the developers use all the data they can take from your device. There is literally no point in giving someone the option to not share personal data from their device with an app developer if they are going to make the game unplayable until you do. It is my decision what I do with my data and I shouldn’t be expected to have a worse experience in your game if I decide to opt out of sharing it with you. Instant uninstall. Ridiculous app development.
