BattleScribe 4+

This must be the first time an app has requested a review and I’ve been happy to spend a few moments writing one with no bonuses to incentivise, BattleScribe is a truly essential app for war gaming. War games in the modern editions have a level of detail that makes things customisable, and really makes each unit play the way the background leads you to believe it should, and that’s awesome! However there’s a lot of book keeping involved, and BattleScribe takes care of that excellently! I use BattleScribe for Warhammer 40k and Kill Team, and it makes preparing for games so much easier. It calculates points, and formats stat lines together with special rules unabbreviated; allowing new and veteran players alike to read their roster as a quick reference sheet. Awesome App, frequently updated! Still can’t believe it’s free! There are payment unlockable features for players who want to save and name units; but all of the core services are absolutely free! ~Very occasionally advertises, and works offline in case of last minute builds at the game store! 5⭐️ 10/10, Always recommend.

I’ve been using BattleScribe now for quite a while now, and have found it easy to use and an overall great resource when building army list for 40k. The fact I can write my list on my phone using the app and take it with me anywhere without the need for paper is super convenient.

One of the main advantages I have found using BattleScribe is the fact I have all the information to hand for not just my force but all the listed factions on the app is incredibly useful to look at not only what I could field but what my opponent could be bringing as well without having to by every codex that I don’t intend to play with. The app is updated regularly as well to keep up-to date with any changes in points and new models making the app in my opinion indispensable if you want to play any wargaming system.

It’s great app for your army making for many platforms from warhammer 40/Sigmar all the way to more specialised games
Also being constantly updated with points values and power level adjustments which making list a breeze not spending hours trying going through books that need updating or waiting and sitting ther jotting up the total as this app does it all for you which for last minute let’s have a game makes it so convenient can take me 5 minutes to make a list rather 40-60 minutes .
I do not pay the one year payment of £3 but I do think about doing it every so often so I can save my favourite units so I can chuck them straight for even quicker use of this app . But otherwise it’s all free and worth the download I have made over 50 different lists for all my army’s
