The Bayes' Theorem Calculator provides a helpful way to determine conditional probabilities using the Bayes' Theorem formula in the format P(A|B)=(P(A)*P(B|A))/P(B).
You are initially requested to input "What is the probability of:" (event A occurring)
"Given that:" (event B has occurred)
The calculator then populates Bayes' Theorem with this information to provide a clear understanding of your problem.
The calculator then asks for the following probability percentages:
P(A)%
P(B|A)%
P(B)%
The calculator then calculates the Bayes' Theorem results.
The calculator also calculates a table of observation percentages that helps with understanding the overall problem structure. To help verify results, the calculator provides a detailed calculation of the Bayes' Theorem using the included Table of Observation Percentages.
Finally, sample problems are provided to assist you with setting up your problem and input percentages.

It was designed for users who have had exposure to probabilities and Bayes’ Theorem in the hope that it would simplify problem set up and calculations. We suggest that you review the sample problems and enter the sample problem data in the app. You will find that the calculations are correct. We have provided a number of sample problems with the app in the hope that they will guide you to set up your particular problem. As mentioned in the app, the difficulty with applying Bayes’ Theorem is problem set up. Once you have defined your problem, the calculations are quite simple. Again, we are sorry that you are having issues and hope this information will help you utilize the app.
