Description

Read faster and more easily with our digital reading technology, which has has won awards from Stanford and United Nations!

Here's how it works: instead of using plain black text, we display text using eye-guiding color gradients. These gradients flow from the end of one line to the beginning of the next, so that when you move your eyes from right to left, they're automatically drawn to the appropriate line.

Vision, literacy, and medical experts agree that BeeLine Reader improves reading speed and reading ability for readers of all ages and skill levels. It is particularly helpful for readers with dyslexia, ADD, or vision impairments—some readers are able to read over 50% faster with BeeLine. Find out how much it will help you by taking the BeeLine Reading Challenge on our website: www.BeeLineReader.com.

Included app functionality: Read with BeeLine in Safari using our BeeLine Action Extension; save articles for later using the BeeLine Share Extension; and browse the web with BeeLine on select popular websites (AP News, Reuters, and Medium.com) within the BeeLine app. Never used an extension before? I Want to Like it…

…but why is the Kindle functionality only available on iPad? I read, almost exclusively, on the Kindle App on my iPhone. This seems like a nice option, but I’ll never know, because the Kindle features are only available on the iPad version.

That’s dumb.

Developer Response ,

This is because Amazon prevents us from offering this feature on the iPhone (or on any Android devices, for that matter). Certainly we wish that we could, and as soon as it is made possible, we will!

There is no mention of the extra cost for the (useful) bundles up front

The concept is really useful but you have to pay extra and upgrade to Pro in order to use the recommended email and social sites (of which there are not many to choose from). I assume that it would be difficult to get permission from most of them.

They offer Medium for free but you have to create an account for that or sign in with your Google, Facebook or other email address.

With the news option you can get Reuters and AP for free but you have to pay for any others. This offer is not so bad - £0.99 for up to 3 news sites or £4.99 for an unlimited list of sites.

This app only works with Kindle Cloud reader (which I don’t have. I use the Books app). It suggests to use another app which can read ePub files, but now I’m not motivated to chase it down just to make reading easier.

For reading pdfs you have to pay £9.99 for their pdf reader.

So If I wanted to read my emails, look at a couple of news sites and read pdfs I would have to spend almost £20 extra.

I think more people would buy this app if it was £0.99 or even a free trial with the option to buy the bundles and it would also be in good faith to mention the option to buy the bundles in the description.

Otherwise I have found the text colours very easy on the eyes.

ATAPPING ,

Misleading!

It's really not acceptable for you to state in the description that you can read kindle books but only tell people that this feature is no longer available once they've paid for the app. I want a refund!
