Too good to miss out on.
I only found this app last week and wish I had found it sooner (but will make the most of it). The recipes look so appetising and accessible (I’m not the best good). There are clear pictorial symbols about the benefits of each meal for your body which I think are great.
The exercises are also accessible and realistic - catering for access to equipment and non-equipment exercises.
The importance of mental health during pregnancy is also a priority on the app and there are lots of mindfulness things to listen to.
The best thing is that you can personalise at the beginning of the setup of the app by selecting your different needs eg pelvic floor heaviness, back pain.
Make the most of it whilst it’s free till June 30th - I will be sorely tempted to pay after that but currently no work due to pandemic so I’ll have to wait and see... however I’m usually quite tight and don’t pay for apps so it’s a compliment that I’m seriously considering it! 😀
Well designed, no nonsense app
The design of the app and the content itself gets straight to the point with clear instructions without needing to skip forward or back through videos.
Lots of workouts to choose from at a range of levels so you can challenge yourself if you’re in the mood.
It doesn’t seem to be driving an agenda, endorsement or contain advertising so you can trust that you’re getting experts in their fields sharing intelligent content to guide you through your pregnancy.
Fantastic expert advice on this app
A lot of apps I’ve found focus a lot on fitness and getting back a pre baby body and I’m not really interested in that. Biamother has loads of simple but science based advice like what is best to eat when pregnant for nutrients and I really love the meal ideas that show you what to set aside for a weaning toddler. The exercises make me feel confident I’m not overdoing it, since my core is definitely still recovering. Really recommend this. Very solid and factual. But the workouts are fun and feel personalised to me!
